Look for juicy, fleshy dark fruit, blueberry compote and savoury fine herb flavours on the palate. L.A. Cetto is the best-known wine producer in Mexico. Founder Don Angelo Cetto, of Italian origin, settled in Mexico in 1926. Cotnari Grasa De Cotnari 2017, Cotnari, Moldavia D.O.C., Romania: Cotnari is a Romanian white wine from the Moldova wine region and produced from the Grasa grape. There is less than 1200 acres of Grasa planted in the world and all of it in Romania. Although Grasa is used to make both dry and sweet-style wines, this wine is a dessert wine made with botrytis-affected grapes to produce a semi-sweet style.
