Produced by winemaker and owner, Stéphane Vedeau, a juicy, 80% Grenache, 10% each Syrah Mouvedre Southern Rhône red wine blend with ripe blackberry, cherry and raspberry flavours rich and smooth on the palate matched by mouth-watering acidity. Tannins are velvety. Enjoy now and for the next 10 years.

Reviews and Ratings

Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Mostly Grenache with 10% each Syrah and Mourvedre. Red fruit and dark fruit, definitely some cherry, trending from ripe to stewed, with fruit leather on the tail end. The palate brings a little freshness to the mix thanks to the acidity. A bit of chocolate and earthy on the back palate and finish. Intense tannins, smooth and round, suggest that some aging will do this well. Calls for grilled lamb topped with a pepper sauce, with a side of caramelized root vegetables.
La Ferme Du Mont Côtes Capelan 2016 Châteauneuf-Du-Pape is a rich and full-bodied unfiltered, juicy Grenache, Syrah and Mouvedre red wine blend. Sultry on the nose with ripe red berry, cherry, garrigue herbs and cedar spice aromas. Lush and smooth with ripe blackberry, cherry, raspberry, sage and sweet spice flavours Long on the finish. Enjoy now and for the next 10 years. Pair with roast beef. - Community Wine Reviews
