As always, spectacular! An superbly crafted, full-bodied Châteauneuf-du-Pape. A lush mouthful of ripe dark fruit, dark cherry, grilled herbs and sweet baking spice flavours on the palate. So goo now.

Châteauneuf-du-Pape food pairings: filet mignon, rosemary lamb, crown pork roast.

Reviews and Ratings

Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A full-bodied southern Rhone blend of 80% Grenache, and 10% each of Syrah and Mouvedre. The oak ageing of the wine is evident in the aromas of baking spices and vanilla. Red berries on the palate with medium acidity and high tannins. Well-balanced with a hint of liquorice on the medium finish. Decanting or ageing further is recommended. Pair with beef, veal or lamb. Tasted February 2020.
Le Ferme Du Mont Vendange 2017 is a full-bodied, concentrated CNDP with ripe dark cherry, rich red and dark berry fruit, fine herbs and savoury spice flavours rich and smooth on the palate. Outstanding depth. Pair with prime rib. - Community Wine Reviews
