Wynns Coonawarra Estate Black Label 2014 is a robust red produced from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Coonawarra, South Australia. Tremendous quality for the price. Pronounced aromas of blackberry, plum, eucalyptus, vanilla, toast, smoke and cake spices. Very fruity with pronounced flavours of cassis, red cherry, blackberry, bitter chocolate, toasty oak. Tannins are dense, but plushy. Enjoy now and for the next 15 years.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: meaty chili, game meats, hard cheese.

Reviews and Ratings

Jenny Ratcliffe-Wright CWM rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Classic Coonawarra teeth tingling raciness of minted chocolate and herbaceous notes. Black fruit on the palate with an elegant dignified finish. Love the sense of place of this wine. Tastes just like Coonawarra should. Try with home made gnocchi with a fresh tomato sauce and tons of Parmesan @wrightwineblog
Wynns Coonawarra Estate Black Label 2014 is just so intense. This robust red is produced from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Coonawarra, South Australia. Tremendous quality for the price. Aged 15 months in French oak, a third of it new with pronounced aromas of blackberry, dark cherry, plum, blueberry, eucalyptus, mint, vanilla, toast, smoke, clove and a touch of mineral. Rich and complex with ripe dark red cherry, blackberry, bitter chocolate, menthol and toasty oak spice finishing long on the palate. Easy to enjoy now, but can cellar for the next 10 years. Pair with a grilled ribeye steak. - Community Wine Reviews
