Reviews and Ratings

Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Josh Cellars from Paso Robles, California presents a medium-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon with big aromas of dark fruit, oak ageing, and baking spices. Slightly sweet on the palate with blackberry flavour leading the way, it is well-balanced with medium-high tannins. The finish has hints of oak wood. Serve with red meats.
Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Pretty nose of cinnamon, potpourri, and stewed cherry. Ripe, fruity palate with bold tannins. Palate is perfect to drink now, but tannins just aren't there yet. Solution: start the decant before you start making dinner. A couple of hours will soften the tannins and make this very enjoyable. Chicken, pork, and beef roasts are good matches, as are burgers and sausages off the grill. Good value for Cabernet Sauvignon from Paso Robles.
Produced by Joseph Carr, Josh Cellars Paso Robles Reserve 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon is supple, rich and full-bodied with cedar brush, smoke and ripe dark fruit flavours on the palate and velvet tannins. Pair with gourmet burgers from the grill. - Community Wine Reviews
