Huff Estates Winery Cuvee Janine Rosé 2013, Prince Edward County, Ontario V.Q.A., Canada: The grapes for the 2013 vintage of the Huff Rosé sparkling wine were picked at a ripeness level of 18.3 brix and given a dosage of 9 grams per litre. Only 3,000 cases were made of this Prince Edward County bubbly. A lovely rosé sparkling wine from the County: truly one of Ontario's best bubbly producers. This wine is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes grown in Prince Edward County and the winery uses the traditional Champagne method of the second fermentation taking place in the bottle. The wine then rested 30 months on its less to add richness. Aromas of field ripe berries and some crispness on the finish. Pair with smoked meats.
