Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Old world flavours consistent with its super-Tuscan components 85% Sangiovese, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Merlot. The 2010 vintage of this ruby red beauty offers Great value for money. This is a less expensive Super-Tuscan, at 13?V, which delivers on old world leather and earthiness, baking spice as well as solid black and red fruit, medium tannins, medium acidity in a well-balanced way, with integrated flavours and an elegant lush mouthfeel. Wonderful pairing with spinach and truffle gnocchi and parmigiana reggiano. this is a wine to buy by the case. Wonderfully diverse with meat dishes and classic Italian fare as well. Enjoy 2015-2018.
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A totally easy drinking, buy by the case, Tuesday night Tuscan red blend table wine. Mild to med aromas of cherry, blackberry, earthy wine with a touch of baking spice.
The palate shows more pronounced fruit flavours including: red berries, black cherry, toasty oak, a little mocha-esque note. This wine is light to medium bodied with structured acidity and tannins. Enjoy now! It will pair extremely well with holiday entertaining!
Nick Onischuk - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

The Monte Antico 2010 is a nice blend of Sangiovese, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Red berry fruit, spice and earthiness on the nose and palate. This wine would pair nicely with a homemade lasagna. Tasted on November 29,2015 (87/100)
