Reviews and Ratings

Tania Thomas - CSW, WSET ADV rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

From the five generations of Perrin Family winemakers in the south of Rhone Valley comes this elegant blend of grenache. Medium in body and dry, delivers a ton of ripe black cherries and cassis with a subtle whiff of black pepper. Well balanced and complex, closes in a long spicy finish. Great match with a board of charcuterie and mature cheeses.
Neil Phillips rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Nose of dark red fruits, pepper, light allspice, sage.

On the palate, lots of ripe fruit, herbs; acid keeps this nicely balanced even though fruit is ample, and the finish is medium-plus.

Fantastic value easy-drinking Rhone from a consistently reliable producer. Suitable house wine. Versatile with many foods.

Tasted May 2015.
Daniel rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Fruit forward, gritty, tannic. A little time spent softening would do well.
