This Nova Scotia Cabernet Franc Rosé has lovely aromas of tart cherry and cranberry, along with racy, mouth-watering acidity for seafood. It shows a pretty pale pink-light orange in the glass. Finishes with blood orange notes. Very refreshing.

Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Trailblazing Benjamin Bridge winery has succeeded once again with this unique and high quality Cabernet France rose. Made from 100% Nova Scotian Cabernet Franc, this elegant expression of Cab Franc is something to get excited about, and guaranteed to be a fan favourite. The nose shows strawberry-rhubarb pie, watermelon, cherry, mandarin orange, red apple, tomato leaf, and expressive wet stone minerality. The palate is crisp and refreshing with tart strawberry, candied watermelon, and mineral leading to a long crisp and clean finish. Enjoy with summer salads, grilled fruit, and tangy BBQ pork tenderloin dishes. Tasted July 2015. 91 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

The 2014 vintage Benjamin Bridge Cabernet Franc Rose is 10.5% ABV and shows pink with a copper hue. On the nose is prominent stone fruit, orchard peach, and nectarine with a wet stone minerality, On the palate this wine offers a similar portfolio of aromatics with crisp mouth-watering and refreshing mouthfeel. This wine is medium-high acidity, medium body and full of flavour, well-balanced and elegant. A perfect pairing for sea food, summer salads and easily enjoyable on its own. Enjoy now.
