Silver Oak Cellars

Twomey Silver Oak Cellars Sauvignon Blanc 2014

Napa County, Sonoma County, California, United States

Ashley scored this wine: 91/100

If you are a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc fan you may want to look elsewhere but as someone who typically doesn't drink the stuff I was a fan! Lots of peach and citrus aromas. Juicy and delicious, enjoy on a warm summer afternoon or with mussels in a white wine sauce.

Limestone Vineyard South

Redstone Winery Limestone Vineyard South Riesling 2012

Twenty Mile Bench, Niagara, Ontario V.Q.A., Canada

Ashley scored this wine: 91/100

I loved this wine at first sip! Shows typical Riesling characteristics. Aromas of citrus, fresh apple and petrol. This wine is a delight on the palate with mouthwatering acidity and a slightly chalky minerality. It's off-dry profile would pair particularly well with spicy foods or try it with summer salads with a citrus vinaigrette.

Paco & Lola Albariño 2014

Rías Baixas D.O., Spain

Ashley scored this wine: 90/100

This crisp Albariño is dry with notes of citrus and pear. Juicy with mouthwatering acidity; would pair wonderfully with seafood or summer pasta salads. Make sure you grab a bottle of this classic Spanish white before it sells out!

Ashley scored this wine: 89/100

Aromas of dark fruit complemented by herbal and mineral notes. Full-bodied and full-flavoured with toasty oak, blackberry and dark cherry on the palate. Serve with BBQ fare.

Ashley reviewed this wine:

Aromatic notes of floral, cherry, blueberry and vanilla. Medium-bodied and elegant with a smooth mouthfeel. Pair with lamb burgers or hard cheeses. Excellent value.
