Sokol Blosser Pinot Noir 2012, Dundee Hills, Willamette Valley, Oregon, United States: Love this style of Oregonian Pinot Noir! Fleshy ripe raspberries yet not jammy. Dark spices and intrigue and a wonderfully seductive velvet texture. Full-bodied but not heavy. The vines for this wine are planted in the iron-rich red soils of the Dundee Hills in the Willamette Valley, which helps with photosynthesis. Pair this wine with seared tuna.
