A full-bodied Pinot Noir, with cherry aromas and racy, mouth-watering acidity makes this wine very food friendly. Finishes with notes of cranberry, sour beet root and wild raspberry. Pair with seafood and roast chicken.

Pinot Noir food pairings: beef bourguignon, planked salmon, roasted turkey, mushroom terrine.

Reviews and Ratings

Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A nice classic Oregon Pinot Noir with notes of cherry, plum, earth and some baking spice. Finishes with soft slightly grippy tannins.
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Ruby red gem. Tart and chewy, balanced, Medium plus tannins, fruit, acidity. Cherry, savoury, with a long cranberry finish. Pairs well with roast turkey dinner. Tasted 2013 vintage in Dec 2017.
Elk Cove (2014) is a robust, dark ruby Pinot Noir from the Willamette Valley in Oregon. Lots of ripe red berry, wild raspberry and blueberry notes on this balanced and elegant Pinot Noir with velvety tannins. Drink now or cellar for three years. - Community Wine Reviews
