I quite enjoyed the taste of this Northern Oregon Pinot Noir. Pretty fresh picked strawberries linger on the nose with some sour cherry and dried herbs on the second pass. Bright acidity and smooth tannins make this a perfect everyday summertime red.

Here we have a fruit forward Pinot with dominant cherry and raspberry notes on the front. On the back end, after some aerating, you start to note some savoury note. The palate is a whole other ballgame, however. High tangy acidity, medium tannins, and savoury dried herb notes dominate the palate. Still, an easy drinking light bodied fall wine. Pair with 'girls night in' and a scrumptious charcuterie platter. Tasted Aug 2016. @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca

The resulting network of hills and valleys contains some 150 different soil types.
