Reviews and Ratings

Wineboy rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

light bodied and crisp, this wine is sure to be a nice addition to your entertaining. While light in body, it had more than enough flavour to please me. A pure clean style with various tree fruits peeking through from start to finish. Food or no food.
Rebecca Meir-Liebman - Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A simple and straightforward wine, made from the Cortese grape variety. Produced in the quality and stable winery- Fontanafreda; this wine absolutely delivers for its under $20 price tag. Dry with quite a neutral flavour; notes of yellow apples, lemon and lime and a slightly nutty finish. l\Pairs well with a variety of dishes; from fish and Cornish Hen to pasta with creamy sauce and fresh salads.
Frontanafredda 2013 Gavi de Gavi is beautifully floral on the nose with vibrant, mouth-watering acidity on the palate. Excellent grilled or poached seafood wine. Fontanafredda's Gavi di Gavi is made from 100% Cortese wine grapes and on the palate, it is ripe yellow apples, almonds and creamy on the palate finishing with a zingy acidity. - Community Wine Reviews
