Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Fontanafredda has been instrumental with the growth and international recognition of Barolo since 1858, but its their value-priced Gavi del Comune di Gavi which you'll want to stock up on and enjoy this summer as the temperatures soar and refreshing white wines take center stage. Produced in the south of Piedmont in the town of Gavi, this 100% Cortese grape shows delicious stone fruit, orchard fruit, and lemon scone notes. Medium bodied, it's creamy with a delightfully refreshing finish making it a super versatile wine to enjoy year round but especially this summer served chilled with BBQ chicken, fish tacos, or shrimp salad. Enjoy over the next couple years served chilled. Tasted June 2024 (when the weather was 35C). 91 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
