Another stunner from this amazing producer. The wine exploded in my mouth with vibrant notes of apple and then of lemon.Elegant, ripe and suave, all at the same time. A lenghty finale crowns a delicious first sip.You will not be able to stop therre;you'll need to taste it again ,on the spot.Beautiful!

I was quite smitten by its rich dark fruit nose! Black currants, plums and blackberries were doing the Dance of the Seven Veils under my nostrils. It as a very supple mouthfeel, with hints of sun drenched fruits making it appear a bit sweet, even though it is a dry wine.A very elegant oakiness give this wine a good structure. I really enjoyed this wine, which for once, costs less in Quebec than in Ontario! Would pair it with duck magret, or pork tenderloin in a porto sauce, with some mushrooms. My favorite wine of the tasting.

More mysterious on the nose, than the regular baco noir. It has a Spanish Carmen flair. The mouthfeel is sensual. The wine wraps itself around your tongue, and holds tight to it. It has a boudoir feel; rich velvet and candles with impressionist paintings on the wall. Luxurious and erotic at the same time. The well integrated acidity keeps it lively.Well done!

It is one of those wines that makes you feel like you're alive in a game of Clue: Old leather, wooden staircases, and lace doilies on the antique furniture. There is also a hint of dried herbs hanging in the kitchen. The wine is very soft on the palate, but not meek.It has personality and quite some length! Maybe even a bit young today, it still has some nice ageing potential.Lovely.

I'm quite fond of this riesling to start with, and i must say that i was knocked out by the 2013 vintage. It's a superb wine to get acquainted with Washington State rieslings. This vintage offers a rounder mouthfeel, but you also get the typical aromas of the varietal. Even the label is fun: it's a fun conversation starter. Great to enjoy by itself, but will be even more talkative with scallops, oysters or patés. Sure to make you smile with sushis or curries with a spicy coconut milk sauce. (SAQ $17.75)
