Always so good, Thorn-Clarke Shotfire 2019 is a juicy, full-bodied Barossa Shiraz with a mouthful of dark fruit, black currant, dark plum, chocolate, anise, vanilla, cedar brush and toasty oak spice flavours, generous and vibrant on the palate. Tannins are rich and mouth filling. Drink to 2030.

Shiraz food pairings: venison filet mignon with red wine gravy, grilled bison strip steaks, goose and duck sausage cassoulet.

Reviews and Ratings

Thorn-Clarke Shotfire 2019 is a juicy, full-bodied and plushy Barossa Shiraz with a mouthful of dark berry, black currant, spiced dark plums, liquorice, dark chocolate and smoky vanilla flavours with a beautiful balance of acidity and well-integrated toasted oak spice lingering on the palate. Tannins are structured and medium. Delicious now, enjoy it through the early 2030s. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
