Reviews and Ratings

Perry rated this wine as 91/100
Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This a big, bold and beautiful red wine - cassis, blackcurrant, chocolate, earth and cedar dominate the palate. The lip smacking flavors linger on the palate and leave you wanting more. Great tannic structure and solid fruit profile, evidence of a great growing season.
Thorn-Clarke's Shotfire (2014) is a big, red and robust Shiraz from the Barossa. Shiraz grapes for this Australian red were cool fermented and the wine was aged in both American and French hogshead barrels for 14 to 16 months. This Australian red wine is made by sixth generation Goddard family. The Shotfire honours the dangerous job in the mines of having to light the dynamite and yell "fire's on" then run for cover. - Community Wine Reviews
