A spectacular Californian Zinfandel from one of the state's top producers. Aromas of cigar box, black plums, smoke and dark spice. Look for ripe strawberries, blue and blackberries with earthy and savoury spice flavours on the palate. Ideal for grilled meats and hamburgers.

Zinfandel food pairings: hearty meat meals, pasta, aged cheddar, pulled pork.

Reviews and Ratings

From the Lodi wine region in California, Ravenswood 2018 Old Vines Zinfandel is excellent value at $22. Grape yields for this vintage were kept low so the wine is rich and velvety on the palate with layers of concentrated blueberry, dried sweet tobacco leaf, dark plum with a smoky vanilla and dark spice finish. - Community Wine Reviews
