Reviews and Ratings

Terry Jeans - Certified S rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Ripe red cherries dominate the aromas, with some earthiness and woodiness. Decent acidity and fruitiness on the palate. A good example of cold weather climate Pinot Noir at a value price.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Aromas of tart and sour cherry, some earth, smoke and cedar. Light body, bright and fresh on the palate, and nice acidity. Would be great with a wide variety of dishes, including turkey with cranberry sauce.
Emilie Ryan rated this wine as 76/100 with the following review:

An old-world Pinot Noir…
Recommended by: a fellow wine enthusiast

Appearance: Light, red but with tones of orangey-brown
Nose: wood, sour cherries.
Taste: very earthy, herbaceous, alcohol, cedar, smokey, green. Definitely needs some food to go with it to tame the acidity and alcohol, possibly some smoked cheese or parmesan, or some grilled chicken, turkey, pork or venison
Finish: cedar, sour cherries, alcohol
Overall impression: I have to be honest that I’ve had better Pinot Noirs that stood by themselves. This is likely better with food given it is an old-world style Pinot Noir.

Value: 2 out of 5
