Very tannic on the palate, this southern French red wine will benefit both from cellaring and decanting. Rustic and robust French red wine with black fruit and some smoke on the nose. Juicy on the palate with a full-bodied weight. Decant 2 hours. Great price. Drink with grilled pork chops or pepper steak.

Food pairings: lamb, grilled pork chops, pepper steak.

Reviews and Ratings

Château Hauchat 2015 is a great value, robust and rustic French red from the Fronsac wine region of Bordeaux. Produced by winemaker and wine family
Jean-Bernard Saby & Fils, Fronsac is one of Bordeaux's satellite appellations, located on the north bank of the Dordogne River with wine made predominantly from Merlot. This vintage was awarded Gold from the Concours de Vins Macon, 2017. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
