I tasted a barrel sample (March 2018) and it was very young ... lots of great ripe dark fruit up front, but it needs cellar time to come together on the palate and finish. This 2016 Sauvignon Blanc is the second vintage of this lovely wine that has aromas of melon. It's medium-bodied without harsh acidity but not wimpy either. Some tropical notes on the finish.
