Natalie's Score: 86/100

A light-bodied PEC red wine with aromas and flavours of cherry-berry and cranberry. Lots of acidity on the palate demands food like roast chicken. Finishes with a lick of spice.

Gamay food pairings: charcuterie plates, seared duck breast with cherries, roast turkey (hot or cold).

Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Big Tangy cranberry aromatics, black cherry, med minus body and big mouthwatering acidity. Pair with roasted poultry. Tasted 2015 vintage in April 2018. 86 points
Jay Denney rated this wine as 80/100 with the following review:

Nice bouquet of cherry and elderberry. I couldn't get past the acidity. This was the first PEC Gamay I've ever tried, so perhaps that is the norm... but for this BC boy who loves the Gamay of Volcanic Hills, Mt Boucherie, Orofino, etc, not exactly what I was expecting to find.
