Reviews and Ratings

Lori Kilmartin WSET3 - WSET3 Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

The colour on this Gamay is very misleading. The grapes spent 26 days on skin so while the colour wasn't soaked up - the nose and aromas certainly were. While light in colour the bouquet is anything! Intense nose of cherry, raspberry, red plum and some floral notes. Flavours of black currant and ripe cherry. Light to medium body with medium-high acidity. 9 months in oak (1 new barrel, 5 old) imparts tannins that are subtle and smooth.
Gamay is a versatile wine that pairs with many foods - try this with your next roast chicken dinner. #tasteontario Tasted March 27/18
Pamela Chiles rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A bit of a departure from norm, this Gamay is so pale and clear in colour (barely red) it belies the lively nose and palate - all juicy cherry-berry mingled with herb and savoury notes. Would be fabulous paired with a salad sprinkled with pomegranate..
