I totally loved this wine. More Burgundian than block buster Californian in style, even the alcohol at 14.1% showed a little more restraint. Oaky, toasty, crushed biscuits, balanced with the most beautiful acidity that sweeps through the oak to show you lemon meringue pie, lemon brulée tart and a long, long finish that is balanced right till the end. 57 barrels made.
