A full-bodied Bordeaux-style Napa red wine blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot grapes. Fragrant with aromas of ripe blackberry, earthy florals and spicy on the nose, savoury with dried wild herbs, black olive, dried tobacco leaf flavours on the palate. Pair with grilled game sausages.

Reviews and Ratings

Jenny Ratcliffe-Wright CWM rated this wine as 97/100 with the following review:

I totally loved this wine. While it is a big exuberant Napa offering, it is delicate in its aromatics and powerful with its savoury undertones. Violets, roses, tar, blackberries blend with a beef stock, bouillon and black olive notes that make it totally seductive. Soft velvet in the mouth with a regal elegance. Pair with seared duck breast and a blackberry reduction. @wrightwineblog
From the Napa Valley wine region, Dominus Napanook 2015 is a Bordeaux-style, medium-red wine blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot grapes. Fragrant with ripe blackberry, pipe tobacco, savoury spice, earthy florals and smoky aromas on the nose. More earthy with briny, savoury herbs, olive and tobacco flavours on the palate. Tannins are smooth and well-integrated. Enjoy with roast pork tenderloin Wellington. - Community Wine Reviews
