Hommage François Hémart Äy Brut

Tasting more aged than most non-vintage Champagnes this one is clearly one of the best Champagnes I have tried in years. Yeasty notes, yes, but It has the complexity only age can give (honey, ginger). Slightly softer intensity to the mousse - again a clue it is made of a blend of more aged base wines.

Canada makes the best icewine in the world, and this is one of the nicest Riesling icewines I've tried in over a year. Pure apricots and peaches with a seam of acidity to keep it fresh and clean. Drink now or age up to 5 years.

Wow.... if you don't mind spending $100 on an Aussie wine as long as it delivers - this is it. Flawless. Hugely extracted beauty. Full of complexity on the nose and palate. Precise aromas and flavours I will leave for you to discover. Ready now or could be aged for 6 years as it will plateau beautifully. A wine your guests will remember for quite some time.

Premium Chianti Classico often show forest floor/mushroom aromas. This Chianti Class. shows more floral lifted aromas reminiscent of Brunello without the price of Brunello. Pure cherry fruit on the palate which more than matches a hint of forest floor aromas. Enveloping tannins mean this will improve with age. 3-6 years I'm guessing. A beauty now - but wait.

Fantastic bouquet! Aromas leap from the glass in the form of rich very ripe fruit showing cherries, plums and candied red fruits. More measured on the palate, it offers a fully lovely textured wine. Lots of glycerine smoothness with a touch of tannins that will allow you to age this further with safety. Candied fruits and ripe plums repeat with a lovely herb note in the background and subtle licorice that linger and linger.
