With both sweet and spicy aromas, this Cab Sauv surprises you with herbaceous flavour hints, culminating in a smooth finish. Well balanced, this wine would be pair well with grilled meats - which, coincidentally, is what was served at the special wine tasting hosted by the Argentinian ambassador. Delicious and full bodied, this Malbec was the perfect blend of fruit and leather. Medium red in the glass, with fruit, spice and slight tobacco aromas. The same ripe fruit and smoky leather and tobacco flavours follow. Smooth finish with light tannins. This was my favourite wine at the special tasting hosted by the Argentinian ambassador, where it paired extremely well with Argentinian beef and hard ripened Sardo cheese. This estate grown Chardonnay is a medium body wine. With fruit forward notes, there is a deeper nutty and leather finish. Would be delicious paired with roasts bird or to sip with light flavoured cheeses. Tasted May 9, 2019

Not being a Sauvignon Blanc fan, this wine surprised me. The typical citrus acidity was diminished by a lovely hint of melon. Perhaps this was due to oak fermentation. It was nicely rounded on the tongue this wine had a smooth but long finish. Great wine with chicken or seafood. Tasted May 9, 2019
