Reviews and Ratings

Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Terrific wine at a tremendous value! The Zenato Lugana (also know as Trebbiano di Soave - a clone of Trebbiano similar in character to Verdicchio) hails from a unique micro climate on the southern shores of Lake Garda. Citrus blossoms, pink grapefruit, green apple and mineral aromas and flavours are predominant. This lovely light bodied white boasts a juicy well-integrated acidity with a crisp clean finish. I had the opportunity to taste this wine with the winemaker himself - Alberto Zenato - and we enjoyed it with pan-seared scallops. The pairing was sublime! It's a terrific shellfish wine! Tasted 08-Jun-15.
The quality designation for this vibrant Italian white wine is DOC. An elegant and refreshing aperitif. Finishes with mouth-watering lemon zest. - Community Wine Reviews
