Love this brilliant and savoury Verdicchio from the Lugana, Veneto wine region. A summertime sipper with orange citrus, white stone fruit and tropical fruit flavours finishing with a touch of savouriness. Chill and sip or pair with grilled seafood dishes.

Lugana food pairings: grilled chicken, planked salmon, pasta in cream sauce.

Reviews and Ratings

Jay Denney rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

This a great value white for the summer, great on its own as a sipper, or paired with grilled chicken or even pasta salad. Lovely citrus and orange blossom, balanced and great moutheel.
Zenato San Benedetto 2019 is a zesty, food-friendly Verdicchio (Trebbiano di Lugana), fragrant with white florals, lemon-lime zest, dry, with ripe yellow apple, fine herbs, notes of ripe peach and mandarin flavours on the palate. Pair with fresh pasta and steamed clams. - Community Wine Reviews
