From the Limestone Coast, Clare Valley, Wakefield Estate 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon is great value at $20. This Cab is lush, full-bodied, concentrated and juicy with crushed black raspberry, fresh red cherry, tomato leaf, fine herbs, nutty and mocha flavours balanced with fresh acidity for food. Tannins are silky. Drinking beautifully now.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: hearty meat dishes, hard cheese, juicy rare steak, barbecued ribs in sauce, hamburger.

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Ripe and rounded, with aromas of raspberry and black cherry, along with hints of black pepper and some dried herbs. Full bodied on the palate with soft tannins and medium + acidity. Fruit and berry notes are plush and rounded, with just a hints of herbs and pepper to keep it interesting. Enjoy with any charcoal grilled meats.
From the Limestone Coast, Clare Valley, Wakefield Estate 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon is great value at $20. Ripe and rounded with aromas and a mouthful of flavours of tomato leaf, dark cherry, dried herbs, minty and toasted nut focussed and fresh on the palate, enjoy it now through 2030+. - Community Wine Reviews
