Reviews and Ratings

Dan rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Delicious red wine. Paired with Lasagna
Martha Kelly AIWS - CS rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Great value in this ripe ruby wine with flavours of strawberry, spices, coffee, and herbs. The velvet tannins give structure to the refreshing wine as it lingers on the complex finish.
Pair with charcuterie or strong cheeses.
Drink now or cellar through 2018; will benefit from decanting.
Date tasted: November 2014.
If you like Italian Amarone, try this Ripasso for a slightly lighter version of the same winemaking method, though by no means a light wine. The method of drying grapes before fermentation in Veneto concentrates flavour and richness in the finished wine. - Community Wine Reviews
