Beautiful Niagara rosé, one of the best I've tasted! Mouth-watering, racy acidity for seafood and roasted chicken. Aromas of tart field strawberries and tiny raspberries. Love it!

Rosé food pairings: lox and capers, grilled salmon steak, fresh fruit, veggies, pasta primavera.

Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Can we call this yummy? Well, I just did. A brilliant deep pink with aromas that leap from the glass. Fresh picked strawberry, raspberry, red apple, field flowers, and earthiness. This is a superb dry Rose with racy acidity. Nothing White Zinfandel about this blush wine. Chill and simply enjoy on it's own or pair with your favourite seafood, planked salmon, pork or poultry. Hurray Niagara!

Neil Phillips rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Medium-deep strawberry red in colour.

Nose of strawberry, crabapple, cold cream; slightly medicinal.

On the palate, this is meatier, very much in the style of Tavel. Nice and chewy, the fruit comes through very nicely, but with a medium-long tart cherry and savoury herb finish.

An excellent match with a summer charcuterie and cheese, grilled salmon steaks, or even a lighter pasta dish.

Tasted July 2015.
Eamonn Donnelly reviewed this wine as follows:

Lovely deep pink hue in the glass. Medium + aromatic intensity with lots of field strawberry, raspberry, red apple and rose. The wine is dry with a deliciously creamy texture. Shows a nice integration of red fruit flavours with tart citrus and floral notes. A great Niagara rose for all occasions. Would pair nicely with wild salmon or bouillabaisse.
This zesty Niagara rosé offers great refreshment. Perfect for the deck with some light cheeses. These wines are made in small batches from grapes that grow on steep hillside with excellent drainage. Winemaker is Emma Garner -- you go gal! - Community Wine Reviews
