This terrific Ontario Rosé is a blend of 50% Cabernet Franc, 32% Pinot Meunier, 9% Pinot Noir and 9% Merlot grapes that uses the saignée method to gently draw the colour from the grapes into the wine to create a ballet slipper pink. A lovely Niagara Rosé with aromas of field strawberries and clementine. Medium-bodied and refreshing with racy acidity for shellfish and barbecued veggies.

Rosé food pairings: lox and capers, grilled salmon steak, fresh fruit, veggies, pasta primavera.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This is a beautiful blended rose, with a gorgeous salmon-pine hue, and aromas of cherry, strawberry and watermelon with hints of tangerine and lime. Medium bodied, dry, and robut on the palate, with tons of fresh berry notes, along with more subtle citrus. Perfect to enjoy on a sunny patio, but would pair well with fresh summery salads, and even grilled salmon or pork - very versatile.
Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Strawberry, cherry, and watermelon lead the nose of this pretty light pink rose, with a slight hint of citrus in the mix. Dry, crisp, and ideally medium bodied. Finishes clean with red fruit. A perfect wine for dining al fresco on a warm and sunny day. Serve with grilled calamari, pan-seared trout, or fresh summer salads.
