Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

From Maipo, Chile a full-bodied Cab Sauv with red berry nose and palate showing red berries, vanilla, mint, slight milk chocolate and cedar. Well-balanced and very enjoyable.
Tasted December 2015
Wineboy rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

While the 14% gives you a full bodied wine, the power of flavours is a touch less. The smoothness of this wine is it's stellar quality, with an allocation of fruit, and soft tannins.
This full-bodied Chilean red wine is made from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown in the cool climate of the Alto Maipo Valley (alto meaning high altitude). Amplus is a Latin word meaning important or honourable. - Community Wine Reviews
