Reviews and Ratings

This is a wine that over-delivers. It begins with aromas of cherry, cassis and a touch of eucalyptus. On the palate, the texture is opulent, with flavours of cherries and black currants mingled with chocolate. On the finish, there are appealing spicy hints of cloves and liquorice. The ripe, round tannins give the wine an easy accessibility now but I would not hesitate to lay some down for a few years. Score: 91. Source: John Schreiner, johnschreiner.blogspot.com, Jan. 27, 2013
A wine that overdelivers with cherries, cassis and black currants are mingled with chocolate. The taninns are ripe and round giving elegance to this approachable wine. Source: Agent (Hobbs & Co. Wine Merchants)
