Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Ruby red in colour with purple reflections. Vibrant on the nose with red cherry, cassis, plum and stewed fruit. Flavours are bright and chewy, with ripe strawberry, red licorice and toasted oak. Big and plummy with nicely balanced acidity showcasing velvety tannins and refined fruit all the way into the full-bodied mouthwatering finish. A nice pairing with or prime rib, root veggies or pizza. - Tasted Dec 2019
Plume 2016 is a owned by Okanagan Valley-based Quails' Gate Estate. The wine is a rich and intense red wine blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Petit Verdot, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Spicy and savoury on the nose with blackberry, dark plum, toasty oak harmonious and juicy on the palate. Pair with smoked and braised red meats. - Community Wine Reviews
