Natalie's Score: 91/100

Winemaker Anthony blends different vineyard parcels of the grapes, like they do in Champagne to create more complexity and interesting flavours. This is the half-bottle size of this wine (375 ml). Finishes with notes of gooseberry and canned peas. Lots of racy acidity for food. Benchmark New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, with zesty refreshment on every sip and a long, clean finish. Classic aromas of chives, lime, lemon and fresh-cut grass. Perfect for a wide range of dishes, from vegetarian to shellfish.

Sauvignon Blanc food pairings: cheese, shellfish, Caesar salad, corned beef and cabbage, pork chops.

Reviews and Ratings

Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc (2016) is a benchmark SB with grapes sourced from the Marlborough's Awatere and Wairau Valleys. This half-size bottle is very popular and a great way to enjoy a glass with a meal or a friend, if that's all you want or before going on to the next course. The wine is consistently crisp and fresh with notes of fresh-cut grass, lime and lemon. - Community Wine Reviews
