Winemaker Anthony blends different vineyard parcels of the grapes, like they do in Champagne to create more complexity and interesting flavours. Well-priced at $10 for this benchmark Sauvignon Blanc produced from grapes sourced from the Marlborough's Awatere and Wairau Valley. This is a lovely summer sipper for one on the patio on a sunny afternoon or an appie wine for two prior to the main course.

Sauvignon Blanc food pairings: cheese, shellfish, Caesar salad, corned beef and cabbage, pork chops.

Reviews and Ratings

Louise rated this wine as 91/100
This is the half-size bottle (375 ml) of Kim Crawford's Marlborough, South Island Sauvignon Blanc (2017) and great value under $10 for this benchmark SB with grapes sourced from the Marlborough's Awatere and Wairau Valley. Winemaker Anthony blends different vineyard parcels of the grapes, like they do in Champagne to create more complexity and interesting flavours. Just a lovely sipper for a summer afternoon or an appie wine prior to the main course. You can count on its consistency of fresh cut grass, soft herbal, lime, lemon flavours finishing crisp on the palate. So easy to enjoy. - Community Wine Reviews
