This robust Californian Cabernet is almost chiseled in structure. Loaded with dark fruit aromas and flavours, it delivers. Generous character with great fruit, structure, complexity and balance. Now let's try it with duck comfit, shall we?

Reviews and Ratings

Martha Kelly AIWS - CS rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

With richness on the palate, complex layers of dark fruit and spices linger with the soft, ripe tannins and refreshing acidity.
Enjoy on its own or pair with finer cuts of beef and lamb.
Drink now, or cellar until 2020.
Date tasted: October 2014.
Duckhorn Vineyards has been producing Cabernet Sauvignon since 1978. Their Cabs bring together fruit from estate grown vineyards and top independent growers to offer great complexity in the glass. This blend also includes a splash of Merlot creating a layered texture and mouth-feel. - Community Wine Reviews
