Love this Sauvignon Blanc with its zesty lime zest, tropical fruit, fresh herb and bell pepper flavours on the palate. Mouth watering too. Pair with green salads topped with warm herbed goat cheese.

Sauvignon Blanc food pairings: Masala salad, saffron potato cakes, spinach and watercress salad with raspberry dressing.

Reviews and Ratings

Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

A highly typical Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough showing intense herbaceous and vegetal notes, mainly asparagus, tomato leaf, cut grass, and boxwood. Beyond the green notes, there are some grapefruit and citrus notes, mostly masked by the aforementioned vegetal characteristics. Extra dry, super crisp. Not a huge fan of the value offered here for $26.95 CAD. Will match nicely with seared white fish and grilled vegetables.
Dog Point 2018 Sauvignon Blanc is a grassy, herbal Sauvignon Blanc with white-fleshed stone-fruit, tropical fruit flavours and a lingering lime-lemon zest finish. Chill and enjoy. Wine grapes for Dog Point are hand-picked from eight separate vineyard parcels. Yields are low-yielding at around 50 hl/ha. Dog Point operates under the “Biogro” program, an initiative to promote environmentally friendly and responsible wine making practices. - Community Wine Reviews
