A plush, supple red with lovely aromas and flavours of juicy plums and a satin smooth texture. Jerry Lohr is one of California’s Central Coast most well-known winemakers, consistently producing admired wines. This syrah could well be your new best friend in a bottle. Enjoy it tonight with a juicy steak or lamb. This review was also published in the Vintages Catalogue.

Syrah food pairings: barbecue chicken, lamb cutlets, bean-based dishes, pizza, grilled salmon.

Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Mmmm...a freshly opened bag of Swedish berries candy. That was the first aroma to impress my nose. Fresh sun ripened plums, cherry liqueur, vanilla danced in my mouth. Medium plus body and smooth. Mild tannins make it enjoyable now. Enjoyed with charred salted ribs.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
