Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Aromas of blackberry, oak and smoke. Full bodied, with medium+ acidity, lots of ripe dark cherry, and plum, and a peppery finish with hints of oak and smoke. Enjoy with a marinated flank steak.
Pam Hatton rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Deep ruby to the edge. Jammy nose of black fruit and red liquorice, butterscotch, vanilla and subtle spice. These aromas are deceiving as the sweetness gives way to dry blackberry, raspberry and hints of cedar and spice. Medium bodied with smooth tannins and a medium long finish.
South Ridge 2017 Syrah is a full-bodied, smooth Syrah from the Paso Robles wine region in California. Dark plum, dark cherry, cocoa, white pepper and smoky, toasty oak. Enjoy now and for the next three years. Pair with grilled lamb. - Community Wine Reviews
