Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Aromas of black cherry, strawberry, black pepper, oak and smoke. Medium bodied, with some light tannins and bright acidity. more red berry on the palate with a spicy, slightly mineral finish. Enjoy with anything BBQ'd.
Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

A red blend of Nerello grapes from Sicily, this medium-bodied wine has an herbal and red berry aromas that continue through to the palate. The berries are more pronounced in the tasting with pepper. Medium acidity and tannins lead to a mineral finish. Pair with beef or lamb.
Tornatore 2017 is a full-bodied red blend of mostly Nerello Mascalese with a splash of Nerello Cappuccio added. Grapes are sourced from the foothills of Europe's highest, active volcano, Etna, in the Sicily wine region. Lovely aromas of raspberry, rose petals and smoky on the nose. Dry, smooth with liquid dark cherries, smoke and braised meat flavours on the palate. Structured with good ageability. Enjoy now with roast beef. - Community Wine Reviews
