Aromas of black cherry, strawberry, black pepper, oak and smoke. Medium bodied, with some light tannins and bright acidity. more red berry on the palate with a spicy, slightly mineral finish. Enjoy with anything BBQ'd.
Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

A red blend of Nerello grapes from Sicily, this medium-bodied wine has an herbal and red berry aromas that continue through to the palate. The berries are more pronounced in the tasting with pepper. Medium acidity and tannins lead to a mineral finish. Pair with beef or lamb.
Ghislain Lalonde rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This is top notch value from the slopes of the active Mount Etna volcano, delivering the savoury, wild red fruit, gravelly tannins and dried herbal finish typical of the place/grapes. I love the succulent, savoury, saliva-inducing aspect, the genuine salty minerality and the long finish. I would buy this by the case for sophisticated, and more impromptu soireés alike, whenever intriguing but good wine is required (i.e. always). Drink 2020-2025. Tasted January 2020.
