Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Berry wonderful cassis, wild strawberry and vanilla in this satiny, balanced Merlot. Pair with roast wild boar, maple Dijon mustard and grilled veg's for a feast.
Tasted March 2019
Stags' Leap Winery 2015 is a rich Napa Valley Merlot with a well-deserved and great reputation. On the nose, rich, dark plums and dark chocolate. On the palate, this Merlot is elegant, structured and carries itself well down to the last sip. Look for dark cherries, cocoa, ripe and rich black plum flavours and earthy notes on the palate. Tannins are grippy, but fine and with good length. Decant one hour prior to serving. Drink now and for the next five years. - Community Wine Reviews
