A gorgeous California Zin, with a velvet-tongued texture. This full-bodied Californian red wine is so supple. Perfect for grilled meats with its black cherry flavours and hickory smoke on the finish.

Zinfandel food pairings: spaghetti Bolognaise, aged cheddar, grilled lamb loin, grilled duck breast, Italian sausage burgers.

Reviews and Ratings

Lynn van der Linde - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Ravenswood Zinfandel is a classic California Old Vines Zin.
Enticing aromas of blueberry jam, boysenberry and sweet tobacco swirl in the glass, transforming into a peppery red plum finish. Medium+ body. Balanced tannins and acidity.
Pair with Korean barbecued short ribs.
Tasted June 2021.
