Reviews and Ratings

Darlene Myers - CAPS Student rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

More and more I find myself opening Zinfandel, and this one is I have had a few times lately. Zinfandel is such a food friendly wine and this Ravenswood is such great value. Flavors of black cherry and vanilla make for a beautiful smooth Zinfandel, that goes great with a wide variety of foods.
Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Ravenswood continues to deliver year after year with its base bottling. Juicy black raspberry, currants, spice, and vanilla. 90 Points. (ottawawinejournal.com)
Sara M - WSET Advanced reviewed this wine as follows:

This is everything an excellent Californian Zinfandel should be: ripe and juicy, with stewed fruits and dark cherries on the palate, and a smoky finish. A great accompaniment to a summer BBQ, and would also pair well with charcuterie and hard cheeses. Fantastic value!
Jennifer reviewed this wine as follows:

balanced tannin. earthy nose. fruit forward with dry finish
