A juicy, full-bodied Italian red wine from the heart of Tuscany in the Chianti region and made from the classic Sangiovese grape. Mouth-watering acidity for tangy tomato sauces.

Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Beautiful tangy well balanced Chianti, food friendly and ready to enjoy. This bottle calls for traditional spaghetti bolognese. Alcohol and fine tannins well integrated. Mouthwatering acidity, with medium persistence of savoury and cherry. Tasted 2014 riserva in June 2017. 90 points
Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This complex value-priced Chianti is bursting with dark cherry, dried fig, clove, fine leather, and graphite. The palate is smooth, layered, and refreshing making it ideally suited with rich braised dishes, grilled rib steak, or aged cheddar. Enjoy 2018-2024. Tasted November 2018. 90 points.
