A great-value, Grenache and Syrah rosé wine blend produced by the Famille J.M. Cazes. Elegant and fresh with raspberry, strawberry, cherry and dried herb flavours and a soft-citrusy finish on the palate. Very food-friendly pair with grilled salmon steaks.

Rosé food pairings: roast quail stuffed with wild mushrooms and leek, sausage and apple stuffed Cornish hen.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Lovely and refreshing. Aromas of strawberry, lime, and a hint of orange. Light, crisp and refreshing on the palate, with more fresh berry and citrus. Enjoy as a patio sipper or with a snack of prosciutto and cheese.
From the Pays D'oc, Midi wine region, L'Ostal 2019 is an easy-to-love Grenache and Syrah rosé wine blend and well-priced below $20. "Ostal" translates to ''house'' and ''family group'' in the traditional Occitan language. Chill and enjoy with brunch fare and herbed quiches. - Community Wine Reviews
